Nurya Love Parish
The Rev. Nurya Love Parish is the co-founder and Executive Director of Plainsong Farm and Ministry, a missional initiative in the Diocese of Western Michigan, and priest-in-charge with Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Belmont Michigan. She serves on the Advisory Council for the Stewardship of Creation, an interim body created by General Convention 2015, and will be a member of General Convention 2018’s legislative committee on the care of Creation. She created the national directory for the Christian food movement, resources families practicing faith at home through the Grow Christians blog, and speaks nationally on the relationship between sustainability, discipleship, food and faith. Her latest endeavor is co-convening the #FaithLands meeting to explore ways land access organizations and faith communities can work together to increase opportunities for young and marginalized sustainable farmers while glorifying God through wise stewardship of church-owned land. Her forthcoming book is entitled Resurrection Matters: Church Renewal for Creation’s Sake.

Ragan Sutterfield
The Rev. Ragan Sutterfield is the author of Cultivating Reality: How the Soil Might Save Us, and more recently Wendell Berry and the Given Life. His work has also appeared in a variety of magazines including The Christian Century, The Oxford American, Men’s Journal, Triathlete, Gourmet, Fast Company, and Books & Culture. He is an endurance athlete and long-time naturalist who loves records, film, and seeking the good life with his wife Emily and their daughters Lillian and Lucia.
